How it all started

More than three years ago Lauren's roommate Jen called to say she was hanging out with some friends from her softball team and that Lauren should join them. Realizing
she had another hour before Law & Order came on Lauren decided to take Jen up on her offer. It's here where Lauren and Mike met. Mike too played on said softball team, but his definition of
"playing softball" was

ordering the t-shirt and showing up at all the social events. Lauren and Mike hit it off well and at the end of the night Mike asked for Lauren's number and he broke all the rules by calling the next day. Lauren remembers thinking "wow, we have a lot in common"
Mike remembers thinking "I can't believe a chick actually gave me her number".

Fast forward three years later. Mike had to go to Europe to work, so Lauren joined him in Ireland. They spent a few days in Dublin before driving all the way across the country to Galway. On the way to Galway they made a detour to the Cliffs of Moher, a unique spot that was highly recommended to Lauren by

co-workers. It was a beautiful day and the cliffs were unbelievable. Mike thought he might propose in Ireland, but in typical Mike fashion had not planned it out or thought of the details. However, he couldn't have planned anything more perfect. It is here where he proposed and she said yes.
